Modulpac has received the PRS Green Label Certificate of Appreciation, recognising our active participation in the circular PRS pallet pooling network. The certificate reflects the high return rate achieved for the PRS pallets used in our operations.
PRS operates a European system for the controlled reuse and shared use of pallets within the polymer industry. Within this circular pooling system, pallets are collected, inspected, refurbished when necessary and reused. This keeps pallets in circulation for longer and reduces the need for new resources.
Companies qualify for the PRS Green Label when they achieve a pallet return rate of at least 65%. Modulpac has received three Return Stars, the highest level, representing a return rate of between 96% and 100%.
This recognition is the result of our ongoing efforts to manage and return pallets within the PRS system. By ensuring that pallets are returned to the pool, we contribute to more circular material flows and a more efficient use of existing resources.
For Modulpac, this is a practical example of how the logistics surrounding our injection moulding operations can support our wider sustainability efforts. Through cooperation with customers, suppliers and logistics partners, materials and transport packaging can remain in circulation for longer.
The PRS Green Label is a Certificate of Appreciation based on PRS internal pallet return data. It should not be regarded as an independently verified environmental certification or as a third-party assessment of the company’s overall environmental performance.
