Our History
Modulpac was founded in 1983 in Lagan. Initially, the company aimed at the chemical and food industry with its sales.
1996
In 1996 Modulpac was bought by Pomonagruppen who still own Modulpac. In the late 1990s, a lot of investment was invested in the company, and it was also focusing on the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industry.
1997
We are certified according to ISO 9001.
2001
Our first cleanroom was opened.
2004
A new warehouse was built and our production area increased significantly.
2005
We are certified according to ISO 14001.
2006
Started a new product line – manufacture of drug cans but the ability to produce multi-layer cans.
2007
We started producing cosmetic packaging.
2008
We built a new warehouse, which also means that our production area increased significantly.
2011
We started the construction of another factory in Lagan, ISO class 8 adapted.
2013
Our new factory along the E4: moveable with production in cleanroom, ISO class 8. Now we have two manufacturing units, both in Lagan.
2015
Expansion and rebuilding of our eastern factory to expand the warehouse and production area
2016
We are certified according to ISO 13485.
2017
Modulpac buys 40,000 m² of industrial land at the Western Factory.
2018
Our first MedTech product to be CE-marked.
2019
Expansion of warehouse at the Western Factory.
2020
Installation of AGV trucks at the Eastern Factory.
2021
Expansion of a new warehouse and new production hall at the Western Factory. We are certified according to FSSC 22000 and ISCC Plus.
2022
Installation of AGV trucks at the Western Factory.
2024
Expansion of a new production hall and warehouse at the Western Factory, and a new solar park.
